The greatest joys in my life have come from the connections I've formed with others. Above all else, my goal as your therapist is to connect with you on a genuine, person-to-person level.
As a transracial Chinese adoptee, I value cultural humility and recognize that each person brings a unique perspective shaped by navigating multiple cultures, identities, and traditions. Growing up in a multicultural family has given me firsthand insight into the complexities of belonging, identity development, and how our lived experiences shape how we see ourselves and relate to others.
Each of us holds multiple intersecting identities that shape how we experience the world and relate to others. These identities may include our roles and relationships, such as being a daughter, a sister, or an adoptee, as well as our values, interests, cultural background, and lived experiences. I believe that recognizing and honoring these intersecting identities within the therapeutic relationship fosters deeper understanding, empathy, and authentic connection. Combined with my clinical training, this perspective allows me to create a collaborative, warm, and deeply affirming space where you feel seen, understood, and supported as your whole self.

A Bit About Me Outside Of Therapy
I live for the small moments that make life meaningful. Whether it's a sunset walk, the smell of a campfire, enjoying a sweet treat, a good belly laugh, or spending time with lifelong friends and new connections, I try to find joy in the everyday moments that help me feel grounded, connected, and present.
Like many clients I work with, I’m on my own journey of healing, exploration, and letting go of perfectionism and people-pleasing tendencies to build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. My own journey began early as I sought to understand my identity as a transracial adoptee raised by white parents and navigate the complexities of belonging, identity, and self-understanding. Those experiences continue to shape both who I am and how I show up as a therapist. I believe self-discovery is an ongoing process, and I value creating a space where clients can explore their own experiences with curiosity, compassion, and honesty. It’s truly an honor each time I get to be part of that journey in someone’s life.
“In a world where dehumanization can feel increasingly common, I strive to create deep, meaningful therapeutic connections where you are acknowledged, understood, and seen as a whole person”
